Leslie L. Dan, Chairman and founder of the Novopharm group of companies, has devoted his business career to pharmaceutical manufacturing and research in Canada. Anna Dan was born in Moscow and emigrated to Canada in 1980, where she has become a high couture fashion retailer. Together they support a wide range of health-oriented programs.

Dr. James and Margaret Fleck are avid arts supporters. Jim Fleck is the President of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation and Chair of the Minister’s Advisory Council for Arts and Culture (Ontario). Margaret Fleck has had an equally distinctive life in the arts, as a choreographer and dancer, and currently as an avid supporter of the National Ballet School.

The W. Garfield Weston Foundation is a Canadian charitable foundation committed to making grants in Canada for the benefit of Canadians. Howard Sokolowski is co-founder and chief executive officer of Tribute Communities, one of the largest homebuilders in Canada. He is currently a member of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and is co-owner of the Toronto Argonauts. Linda Frum Sokolowski is a columnist for the National Post. As Chair of the United Jewish Appeal’s Women’s Campaign 2006, she raised a record $8 million for the organization.
